How Express Entry Works
Create Your Profile
Submit an Express Entry profile with your qualifications and details:

- • Work experience and language test results

Enter the Pool
Your profile enters the Express Entry pool:
- • Your CRS score is calculated automatically
- • You compete with other candidates in the pool
- • Higher scores = better ranking
- • Profile remains valid for 12 months
Receive ITA
If selected in a draw, receive Invitation to Apply:
- • Draws happen approximately every 2 weeks
- • Minimum CRS score varies by draw
- • ITAs are valid for 60 days
- • Apply immediately after receiving ITA
Submit Application
Complete your permanent residency application:
